We are holding a UX week in May, and I have suggested the web developers hold a session to inform the human factors engineers about the implications of our working in the code base. Currently, there is a big disjoint between what we can deliver as a prototype and what we can deliver when working in the code base. The goal of the session will be to set expectations.
The initial plan was for each of the developers to show the work they’d done and go over some basic ‘lessons learned’. However, the more I think about it, the more I’d like the session to delve more into specifics of the development environment. I.E. an intro to OOP and how it impacts the design.
