I have been working as in the web development field for a decade now. I’ve worked as a solo designer/developer building sites for small businesses. I spent four years in the User Experience department at LexisNexis working on the interface for an incredibly robust data-driven internationalized web application. I’ve worked on engaging, interactive RIA experiences for some of the biggest brands in the world. As a business analyst I established system requirements, and as a developer I anticipated challenges and coded to meet the client’s (and users!) needs.

All those questions you’ve asked (or not asked!) your development partner? I’ve probably heard them all – and many more you never even considered. So before you select a partner to help you revitalize your online presence, take a moment to to look over these questions so you can make an informed decision.
There are many aspects to a Web presence, and not all of them are relevant for everyone. I am going to present these questions as a series, and you can pick and choose which are of interest for your particular project.
Good luck!
