Hi Andrea - from Austin
Knowbility had a press conference 8/29 launching the 10th anniversary AIR-Austin event (http://knowbility.org/AIR). Last year's Honorary Chair, Hugh Forest, runs SXSW Interactive. He was there to introduce the new chair. I mentioned a Panel, and he just gasped. The number of submissions has doubled each year; there were 350 last year - 700 this year. They will select about 70. The Panel Picker (http://panelpicker.sxsw.com) is impossible - for everybody. Hugh said they are going to have to find a new way to handle (and filter) the panels. Ah success!
